I am the third owner and had this bike for the last 5 years and ridden the last 37000 miles on it. This machine has had excellent care throughout it's life and has performed very well for me. I would not hesitate to ride it to any coast on a moments notice. The original owner had a aftermarket alternator kit installed and it works flawlessly. I've never had a problem with the electrical. As a mechanic and product service engineer for a career I am very particular about maintenance of my equipment.Spring 2014 I did a very thorough preventative maintenance on the entire bike at 101000 miles. Flushed brake fluids, replaced front and rear caliper slide pin seals, changed air, fuel, and oil filters. Replaced timing belts. Replaced rear wheel bearings. Inspected front wheel bearings. Changed engine oil, final drive oil. Cleaned carburetors. Replaced spark plugs. Replaced front shock seals and checked strut sleeve bearings. Cleaned, inspected, and greased head stock bearings. Inspected drive shaft u-joints. Replaced rear tire.Spring 2015: New gel battery, new front tire.The windshield was new when I purchased the bike.The original intercom and stereo does work. The intercom wiring was unplugged and the harness removed from the bike in spring 2014 since I have a blue tooth intercom in my helmet. I have a box of miscellaneous parts that came with it when I got it and I'll pass on to the next owner. Terms: $500 cash at close of auction. Balance due within 3 business days of auction closing.
