This 1970 Z28 Rally Sport, runs and drives like new with numbers matching block, heads, carburetor, transmission, smog pump, distributor, fan clutch, and water pump. The stock exhaust system with the factory correct stock muffler. This car was built in Van Nuys Ca. Plant and shipped to Sam Leman Chevrolet in Roanoke, Illinois. Job #2726, Trim 712, Paint 48G, RPO 12487, Build date 04-A. There is less than a few thousand miles on the motor. The motor was rebuilt in the early 1990s with a 30-over bore and complete rebuild including harden seats in the heads. All of the receipts are available for review. The high dollar items such as the carburetor, shifter, smog pump, and fan clutch are in place and have either been rebuilt or replaced with NOS parts. All gauges work including the clock with original movement. The paint is (new in 2011) base clear coat DuPont. The color was matched to original color from door jams. New emblems, bumpers, windshield with correct antenna in the glass, new parking light assembly and new weather strips were installed Other items: Build sheet with Vin number I'm selling this Beautiful Z 28 for my friend who has lost interest and moved on to another hobby. This Z was mine before I sold it to my friend, I restored it to its original condition to date. It's been in our family for over 30 years. The Reserve price is reasonable but you won't steel it. This is an original Z 28 Camaro RS with Deluxe interior, very hard to come by with these options. This Z drives and runs as good as it did in the seventy's, very tight and pulls very hard and has that great factory sound. If your a true Z 28 fan you won't be disappointed.
