Vehicle Detail
Up for bid is a 1972 442 convertible with a 455 C.I. V8, factory air, auto. I am 70 years old and have been building cars since I was 16. Due to health problems, it is not bull and I am not able to finish this one. The pictures in this ad will show the car was complete when driven into my garage. Since it wasn't my first restoration, the car was completely dismantled and all parts are bagged and boxed. They're being stored in a climate controlled room. 95% of the mechanical work is complete, including brakes complete, fuel complete, and the original corroborator is professionally rebuilt. The engine has 175 PSI compression in all cylinders. BODY: The body was taken apart and taken to a media blaster for paint removal and epoxy priming. All metal work is visible, no surprises. This car needs completion, but structurally and mechanically, it is a good canidate for the work that needs to be done. If more details are needed, please call (910)-754-8360.
