I have owned this Rebel for ~18 years. I think that I am the 3rd owner. It runs and drives very well. It was repainted a long time ago and has some door dings and scratches on both sides. The vinyl covered roof is in very good condition without any rust developing anywhere. The floors are good. The brakes were redone a few years ago. This is a very original Rebel without any known problems. You can hardly hear it running. I have the car advertised elsewhere and reserve the right to cancel this auction at any time. It was repainted many years ago by a previous owner. It appears that they used Bondo to repair the areas in front of the rear wheel wells and the drivers side, lower quarter behind the rear wheel. Over the years, some of the undercoating has peeled away from the underside of the floors. The surfaces are rusty but good, except for a small hole below the drivers seat. The cross ribs that support the floor pan are good and so are the inside rocker panel surfaces that they are welded to. I believe that these rusty surfaces can be well protected with an application of POR-15. Please call me if you have any questions.
