For sale is my 1968 corvette. It presently has a 1968 (3914678) 327 ci engine and 1968 Muncie 4 speed. When I bought the car in 2006 the motor installed had been freshly rebuilt. The car came with the original engine block and original automatic transmission. At that time the original carb, distributor, and intake manifold were installed on the motor. Over the years I have removed these parts and replaced them with new parts for better performance. However knowing the value of this car as a collector I kept all of the original parts, they are located in Middlesboro Kentucky, and the purchaser is welcome them for the cost of freight and packaging. Parts in Kentucky Original 327 Engine block Original Automatic Trans Original Intake Manifold Original Distributor Quadrajet 4 barrel Carb Work done since purchase In 2006 · Holley 600 cfm carburetor installed it is correct for a 1966 corvette. · Aluminum intake manifold installed. · Ceramic block hugger headers installed. · Chambered exhaust installed · 4 new steel wheels, beauty rings, and Original center caps. · K and N air filter In 2007-2008 · The car was stripped down to bare fiberglass, it was Gel coated, primered, painted and clear coated to its original paint color as identified the cowl tag. This was done at Cumberland Collision Center in Ewing Virginia. In 2013 · New Mallory distributor installed. It is a dual point mechanical advance unit. · New cam installed it is the 151 casting from the 1965 corvette 350 Hp application. · The Original 291 double hump heads rebuilt. This work was done by Whites Performance and Machine shop in Kingsport Tn. · New Cloyes timing chain · New valve covers · New points · New water pump · Starter was rebuilt by Yearys electric in Middlesboro Ky. In 2014 · The rear end was rebuilt and new ring and pinion installed. It is now a 3.73 rear end. I do still have the original 3.23 gears. · New drive shaft U-Joints · 4 new Goodyear viva II tires installed 225 75 r15 · 2 brake calipers replaced · New spark plug wires · New Holley vacuum advance diaphragm and spring · New alternator · Rebuilt radiator (Dales Radiator Service in Butte Mt.) In 2015 · New spark plugs (May) · New battery (May) Notes: · Temperature gauge works · Fuel gauge works · Battery gauge works Work needed: · Break system gone through, pulls to the right when breaking hard · Tack seems to have a gear problem, Disconnected at distributor · Radio not working (was a few years go may be a speaker) · Speedometer not working · Windshield wipers not working · Short in electric system drains battery Buyer is responsible for pick-up within 7 days of auction end.
