Vehicle Detail

Condition: I use Hagerty.com to value cars and I would consider my 928 as a number #4 car. "It is a daily driver, with flaws visible to the naked eye. The chrome might have pitting or scratches, the windshield might be chipped. Paintwork is imperfect, and perhaps the fender has a minor dent. The interior could have split seams or a cracked dash. No major parts are missing, but the wheels could differ from the originals, or the interior might not be stock. A #4 car can also be a deteriorated restoration. "Fair" is the one work that describes a #4 car." A 928 S4 with this condition rating is listed at approximately $8,000. https://www.hagerty.com/valuationtools/HVT/VehicleSearch/Report?vbe=23826 Mine has two dings in the hood and one on the rear bumper the paint on the hood is starting to fade and it is starting to peal around the tail lights. They rest of the body and paint are in good shape. All of the electrical items (see window below) work and it blows cold A/C. There is a side marker light out on the drivers side. and the dashboard has cracking along with the instrument pod. When I bought the car last year and had the local certified Porsche mechanic (I can provide contact info) go through the car from bumper to bumper. He has done all of the work to the car. I put the original wheel and tires back on it, replaced the power steering pump, had the intake removed and sandblasted and all of the rubber items replaced along with the fuel injectors, as well as the knock sensors. I also had the sway bar bushings replaced and the car inspected in March and the oil and filter changed. It still has two outstanding issues and I have the replacement parts for both. The first is the drivers side window switch stopped working. It was intermittent and then just stopped working all together. I have the replacement switch ready to go. The second is the odometer stopped working. I have a replacement cluster as a spare part. This is a common problem with this model and there are YouTube videos on the fix. This is a garage kept and very cared for 928. I have always had an affinity for Porsche's and I am moving on to a 968. I like to love them and leave them! If you need more pictures or would like to discuss the car please contact me?
