1999 Porsche 996/911. Porsche fans recognize the 996 as a good entry level 911 delivering modern driving characteristics and comfort with Porsche flat six, rear engine fun. This example is in good condition with several important issues addressed. Rear Main Seal and Intermediate Shaft Bearing issues have been addressed in June 2013 at 74,500 miles with invoices provided. Upgraded JRZ RS Pro adjustable suspension installed 11/2012 at 73,500 miles. GT3 Front and rear sway bars and Tarett drop links installed 8/2012 at 71,200 miles. 18" light weight Carrera III wheels installed. Tires are at 20k miles. Stage 2 clutch kit and Sachs light weight flywheel installed 5/2012 at 69,500 miles. Cosmetic enhancements include LED interior lighting kit, shelf console (ashtray delete), 19% window tint. Issues remaining include paint wear such as several chips and scrapes (see pictures), driver's seat wear on door side bolster. Air bag light is on - seat belt has been replaced and airbags checked, but light remains on. Check engine light is on due to oxygen sensor needing to be replaced. Right side catalytic converter is probably the culprit and will need to be replaced to address the check engine light. Brakes have 30% left. Clutch and transmission are good. I recommend a pre-purchase inspection at buyers expense and will be happy to help arrange with in reason. (I live in St. Helena, California and Porsche mechanics aren't exactly right down the street.) It has been a fun daily driver for me, but I need something with functional rear seats and that will pass California SMOG. Please ask questions and good luck!
