Vehicle Detail

Offered here is a very straight 63 Biscayne, I took the car on trade. The previous owner purchased the car from original owner a few years back. The car had been in storage since mid eighties. He reconditioned the car and drove it as his work commuter. By reconditioned I mean he replaced or repaired everything mechanical as needed to make the vehicle reliable. The fuel system from the carburetor back, including tank and sending unit is new. The brake system including power booster out is new. The exhaust system is new. The tires are new. He replaced the heater core, blower box gaskets, window felt, door and trunk seals, kick panels with vent grates, door wind lace, interior upholstery, door panels and rear interior quarter panels, inside door handles, turn signal switch in column, universal joints, center drive shaft bearings. He also removed the original 3 speed transmission (will be included in sale) and installed a 4 speed with new bell housing and clutch pack with a hurst shifter. It also has new starter solenoid, speedo cable, 3 gauge instrument cluster and new shocks. The car runs and drives great, the doors fit and close like a new car and all mechanical parts work great, i.e. Window regulators, vents, latches etc. The bumpers are solid but the chrome is showing its age with minor scratches and discoloration , like wise with the mirrors and window handles. The emblems and trim are in fair shape with a few small dents in the side moldings .There are no holes in the floor pans or rocker panels, the trunk floor had holes in it from a leak around the trunk lid seal. The bottom of the trunk was cut out and a new pan welded in place. There were three rust spots on each side where debris collected in low corners and trapped moisture. One in front of rear wheel openings, one in lower rear corner of doors and one in lower rear portion of front fenders. All rusty metal was cut out and new metal welded in. The car was painted about 6 months ago and is in good shape with just a few minor blemishes. The removed transmission and all its hardware are included with the car. If you have questions or want more photos please feel free to ask . The Biscayne is rare (eBay didn't even have it listed on there menu ) and because of it light weight was sought by hot rod enthusiast of the day for a 409 conversion. This would make a good car for a complete restoration or daily driver. I also have the makings of a 327 engine, double hump heads, machined block, forged crank and aluminum GM intake that I will throw in with the buy it now price.
