First off - I am an individual seller who purchased this Astro Van about 10 years ago with 6,600 miles on it. It was still under factory warranty at the time of my purchase and it showed like new. I know the complete history of this vehicle as I have performed nearly all the required maintenance myself. For those who know ASTROS (this was my 3rd), they are rock solid vehicles IMO (in my opinion) and are built to last. That being said, this 2003 Chevy Astro Archer 7 passenger Conversion Van is being sold AS IS with no warranty. Please see my ABOVE AVERAGE 100% Seller Rating. I hope that the final price you pay reflects this fact that I can only know what I know about this 2003 Chevy Astro Archer 7 passenger Conversion Van, be truthful in my description, and guarantee that you will receive the actual 2003 Chevy Astro Archer 7 passenger Conversion Van as shown in the pictures. I have sold items on Ebay for $5 to over $3000+ and have not had buyer disappointment in my descriptions. I have purchased many items from Good Sellers on Ebay who treat their customers the same way. Scammers...stay away! So here's the deal. I'm selling this van only because I no longer need it. IMO it has years of life left in it. I have friends who had over 500,000 miles on their Chevy Astro 4.3 V6 engine, I even put 390,000 on an S10 with the same engine before selling the truck. Can't guarantee any of this of course! The GOOD - Here's what I've done to this vehicle in the past 3 years (other than oil changes every 5000 miles) and scheduled maintenance. Approximately $2500 worth of maintenance. 1) Newer matching Goodyear Wrangler HPs 2) Newer Alternator and Battery3) Newer Radiator Hoses and Coolant4) New Fuel Filter - just done June 20155) Newer Front Shocks6) Newer Brakes, front wheel bearings, and smooth rotors (no pulsing), idler arm, etc. 7) Newer Starter8) New Distributor Cap & Rotor Bonuses you wouldn't expect: 1) Gibson SS performance exhaust. Great for towing (pulled a small cargo trailer and small boat some). This exhaust lets the engine stay in overdrive longer to improve towing gas mileage...and the slight rumble is SWEET !! 2) Rear Air shocks (Monroe High Jacker) helps level out the ride if needed. Passenger side may need a new $10 hose. 3) Class 3 towing hitch. And the Minuses. (Study photos carefully) 1) Small oil leak. Maybe a few drops a day. 2) AC doesn't currently blow cold air. Don't know problem. Could be a simple recharge, not sure. I rarely use AC so it never mattered to me. When it was working properly the kids liked the fact that there was a separate fan control for both front & rear Heat and AC. 3) Windshield - IMO not in line of sight so I never fixed it. You can have this fixed if so desired for around $260 installed.4) Dimple in driver front fender (hardly noticable on white van).5) Some scuffs and chips - front bumper cover needs crack glued. 6) Heat shield vibration? - Sounds like an exhaust shield occasionally at idle. Haven't researcher farther. 7) Slider door power door lock is intermittent. Could just be a dirty contact, or maybe a new actuator. Key lock works fine. All other locks and electric windows work fine. Use the keyfob to lock/unlock all doors, one push opens just driver door, two pushes opens all doors. The driver door lock switch is intermittent and I just use the fob. So as truthful as I can be about this vehicle, if I only needed something for around town to tote the kids and/or a work truck I would do nothing to it. Drive and enjoy the savings!
