Four Years ago, the conversion was professionally done by myself with no expenses spared. The truck has had no issues since the conversion was completed. Never been in an accident/wrecked. This would be great for a daily driver or a great start for the project of your choice, rock crawler, straight axle conversion, etc. It is a very clean Truck inside and out. Engine Swap Details: 2002 Toyota Tacoma motor (3.4 Liter 5VZ-FE V-6) from a vehicle with 75,000 on the odometer. Engine ECU & Conversion Harness: 2002 Toyota Tacoma Manual 4x4 ECU (Hard to come by) purchased from Toyonlyswaps. Once the engine was removed from the Tacoma, I bought this kit: (http://www.ebay.com/itm/TIMING-BELT-KIT-WATER-PUMP-Genuine-OE-Manufacture-Parts-3-4-V6-15-PIECES-/180729034728?ssPageName=ADME:B:WNASIF:US:1123#ht_1865wt_1124) This included timing belt, all rollers/tensioners, water pump, belts, thermostat, etc: Includes The Following Brand New Parts: Quantity Part Manufacturer Part Number 1 Timing Belt & label Toyota 13568-69095/YZZ03 1 Idler Roller NSK OE 13503-62040 1 Tensioner Roller Koyo OE 13505-62070 1 Front Crankshaft Seal Toyota/NOK OE 90311-40022 2 Front Camshaft Seals Toyota/NOK OE 90311-38051 1 Water Pump Aisin OE 16100-69398-83 1 Water Pump Gasket Aisin 16271-62011 1 Hydraulic Tensioner Toyota 13540-62021 1 Thermostat (82°c) Toyota 90916-03075 1 Thermostat Gasket Aisin 16325-62010 1 Air Conditioning Belt Toyota 99364-20870 1 Alternator Belt Toyota 90080-91090 1 Power Steering Belt Toyota 90080-91126 Emissions Info: This vehicle is California/50 State Smog legal as a 2002 Tacoma. All emissions sensors are in place in the fuel tank, exhaust, O2 sensors, etc. It utilizes the catalytic converters from the 2002 Tacoma, and was taken to a referee and deemed smog legal with a carb approved sticker. (Pictured in door jamb). Another neat feature is there is now an OBD2 (On Board Diagnostics) port which you can plug into and read codes. Something you couldn’t do on the 1992 3.0 since OBD2 was implemented in 1996 and up. By the way it never has thrown a trouble code. Air Conditioning: A/C works flawlessly and has that “freeze you out of the cab” Toyota quality. Transmission/Transfer Case: 5 Speed Manual transmission shifts very smooth, no grinds or popping out of gear. Gear oil has been changed in the transmission and transfer case. Clutch, throw out, and pilot bearings were replaced at the time of the conversion and both output seals on the transfer case with Toyota OEM parts. I also had the flywheel resurfaced when this work was done. Interior: The interior is in exceptional shape for a 1992. There is a small tear on side of the driver’s seat (shown in the pictures). There is also somewhat of a bleach mark in the back seat (also pictured.) The carpet is in very good shape and I just put in brand new OEM Toyota floor mats to keep it all original. No foul odors or smoking. Exterior: Also in exceptional shape for a 1992, however there are a few minor dings as show in the pictures. Title: I hold a clean California Title in hand. Tires/Wheels: 95% tread remaining on BF Goodrich All Terrain (31 x 10.5 R15 ) with black powder coated OEM Toyota wheels. Spare is also powder coated to match. Odometer/Gauge cluster: I bought a gauge cluster from an SR5 Toyota and swapped it in at the time of the conversion so I could have a tachometer, battery voltage gauge, & oil pressure gauge instead of just dummy lights. Odometer reads 291,557. (Carfax reads 288,300 for the last reported odometer reading.) If you would like to discuss anything else in person send me a message and I'll send you my phone #. Vehicle is located in San Diego,CA On Jun-27-15 at 18:59:05 PDT, seller added the following information: If you have "0" feedback and don't contact me before the auction ends I will cancel you bid. I just cancelled the high bid due to the high bidder having "0" feedback and not replying. Also this truck has a brand new windshield in it. I forgot to mention this in the original listing.
