1984 FJ60 Toyota Land Cruiser, Desert Tan, Clear title, no accidents, no modifications 2nd Owner, Southern California car since purchase, Well maintained. Virtually no rust - light rusting at floorboard near driver's door (see pictures). This was my Dad's FJ60 which he purchased from the original owner in 1992, and we're now selling. He's done a lot of the maintenance work on it himself, but we've itemized the records we have and posted images of the service and parts list at the end of the images. I've tried to lay everything out below and in the images, but if you have any questions, just ask.Engine: Stock 2F 6 Cylinder Engine still runs well, and starts up reliably if it hasn't been sitting for too long. We started it up two-weeks ago after sitting for 2-months, and after warming up for 5-10 it drove well. No tailpipe smoke or engine knocking. That said, with a tune-up it would be really great. The original manual transmission still shifts great. The steering is a little loose. Haven't been able to check 4x4 recently, but was last used a few years ago and had no issues. Mileage: The truck has about 250,000 miles on it. The original speedometer and tachometer had stopped working, so my Dad purchased and installed an replacement instrument panel from Chuck and Eddie's. We still have the original instrument panel that read about 246,000 miles on it when it was switched out and it was replaced with one that showed 226,741. Since replacing it he's put a thousand miles on the truck. I forgot to take pictures of the original panel, but if you want any I can take some. Interior: All original except for Aiwa CD player that he added. The seat upholstery is in good condition for the age of the truck. The front seats are dirty and the driver's seat has some cracking in the vinyl on the side, but the rear seats are in really great shape since he almost always drove it with the back seats down. The headliner is also in great condition, though has about a 3" rip near the lift gate on the passenger's side. The dash is original and uncracked since it has always been covered. The carpet is worn as would be expected, but we have replacement brown carpet that will be included in the auction. The bed area is missing the tailgate carpet panel and the passenger's side cover panel. The A/C blows strongly, but doesn't get super cold.Exterior: See pictures for more detail, but the body condition is really great overall. There are small paint chips and scratches consistent with use and age, but no rust on the rain gutters or in any of the other usual places. There is also some bubbling from gas spills. My Dad was getting ready to paint the hood, so it's been primed in places. Wiper blades need to be replaced. The rear wiper is not attached in the images, but we have it. The rear bumper has some denting, but nothing that affects the chrome. Tires were replaced at 243,299 miles, so they have a lot of life still left in them.
