The engine on this truck needs repairs. We are selling this truck in AS-IS condition. This is a 2006 Ford F-450 2 Door Single Cab, one owner. The engine is a 6.0 L Powerstroke Turbocharged diesel with 289,000 miles. It starts right up, but has excessive blow-by and intermittently misfires. On a cold engine, the misfire is pretty much permanent but once the engine warms up it idles evenly and the misfire becomes intermittent. I filmed a video of the truck running which is posted below for everyone to see. Please pay close attention to the smoke coming out of the oil cap. The air conditioning blows warm, I believe that the compressor needs to be replaced. The automatic transmission shifts smoothly through all gears. The suspension feels very solid and the brakes are in good condition as well. Drive shaft and rear differential have no issues. The overall condition of the truck is actually very good. The interior has been very well maintained and certainly shows less that average wear and tear. Vinyl seats are in perfect condition, the carpet is clean as well as the headliner, door panels and dash are undamaged. The exterior shows very nice too. The paint is in very good condition and there are no major dents or scratches anywhere. Please understand that this is a 9 year old vehicle and you should expect normal wear and tear to the paint and body. The length between the back of the cab and the end of the frame is 11'. The 4 rear tires are brand new (never used), but the 2 front tires are pretty much bald and will need to be replaced.
