When I "sold" the car last time I bought my next project car and now I need to make room in my garage. Here is the important information: - Yes, the thermal reactors have been removed. - Yes, the AC works. It's time to send my vintage E23 to a new home so I can make room in my garage for my next project. This car is in excellent condition and runs and drives very well. The AC works and blows 38 degree air out the vents. The heater works very well. The seats and interior are in excellent shape. This car came out of the south and had very little rust. The two worst spots were the bottom edge of the trunk lid and the spare tire well. I replaced the trunk lid with one in good condition from California and I POR-15'ed the spare tire well. The engine starts quickly and shows good oil pressure. The 4-speed transmission shifts smoothly. This car excels on the highway. Roll up the windows, turn on the AC, flick the cruise control on, and the miles just float by. The red leather interior is newer and in great condition. The car is garage kept and I don't drive it in the rain (or snow). In the last few months, the following work has been performed on the car: -Replaced all under-hood fuel lines. Replaced all 6 fuel injectors with new (not rebuilt) injectors. -Replaced most of the cooling system, including aluminum radiator, hoses, thermostat, and a system flush. -Replaced battery, battery cables, and upgraded alternator to a GM CS-130 (105 amps) -Removed thermal reactors and replaced with M30B34 manifolds. New downpipe and new muffler. -Brand new 7 speaker stereo system. Nakamichi bluetooth head unit, 1000 watt amplifier, 6 new speakers, and trunk-mounted 150 watt powered sub-woofer. -New brake rotors (x4), brake calipers (x4), brake pads (x4), and hoses (x4). New brake pressure accumulator and the system was flushed. -4 new tires (Michelin) and 1 new spare tire (General). -Replaced AC compressor, condenser, hoses, expansion valve, and drier. New condenser fan. New HVAC blower fan. -Front suspension rebuild, including new shocks and control arms. -Rear suspension rebuild including new Koni red adjustable shocks and mounts. -Steering rebuild including new tie rod assemblies and center link. Car was aligned afterwards. -General tune-up including valve adjustment, spark plugs, plug wires, ignition coil, etc. Here is what I know does not work on the car: -Right rear window does not roll down. All the other windows and the sunroof work fine. -The HVAC blower has 6 speeds. Only 4,5, and 6 (the high speeds) work. -The (adjustable) rear shocks should probably be softened but I enjoy them where they are. The firmness level sometimes causes clunks. Included with the sale are two printed service manuals (these are actual paper books, not CD's) and a large amount of spare parts. The title is clean/clear and is in my possession.
