Vehicle Detail

I am ready to sell this very rare 1969 GTO Judge. This Judge is a RamAir III with a 3 speed manual transmission. First the back story, my neighbor bought this car in November 1970. He was 19 years old in Michigan, he moved to Las Vegas in 1971. He drove the car until 1981 and then parked it. I first learned about the car in 2007. I told him lets get it out and get it going, or at least let me buy it. He knew what the car was worth and was never getting rid of it. Fast forward to 2014, I made him an offer he told me to add $10,000 to it and I can have it. Well November 8,2014 the car finally saw daylight after 32 years of sitting in the garage. Let the cleaning begin, starting with the interior I replaced the package shelf and the front seat covers. Found partial build sheet. Everything else in the interior is original. Moving towards the trunk, just clean up. Time to move to the engine. Even though he told me the motor and transmission were original they still needed to be verified. All numbers match. I pulled the engine, resealed the motor, replaced the timing cover, fuel pump, water pump, spark plugs, wires, cap, rotor, belts, hoses, thermostat, heater core, engine mounts, transmission mount and throw out bearing. Changed the oil in the transmission. Removed the gas tank to have it cleaned, found more of the build sheet. Replaced rubber fuel lines. Serviced rear differential and verified 3:55 posi trac. Replaced front and rear brake shoes and all four wheel cylinders and rubber brake hoses. I saved everything I removed. The exterior of the the car was fairly nice, the only rust was at the bottom of the right front fender which was properly repaired. The car had been repainted in 1980. I colored sanded the body to remove the oxidation and buffed to what you see. The right door had a repair and had some primer on it. I had the door painted from the stripe down and the bottom of the right fender where the rust repair was done. The body has some dings and marks but I wanted to leave it as it was found. I have the PHS documents and all photos of the resurrection. The AM radio is inop and the odometer is not working. Everything else is working as it should. Though is a 46 year old car you are buying it as is with no warrantees implied. On Jun-15-15 at 07:18:55 PDT, seller added the following information: You can call me Scott 702-339-0572.
