This is a 1984 2 door Chevy S10 Blazer. I am not exactly sure what is wrong with the 2.8L engine, but for the purpose of the buyer, consider it history. I believe it has spun rod-bearing, but this has not been verified by a mechanic. The engine starts, but it does not sound pretty. This vehicle has problems associated with its age. The speedometer needle spins in circles rather than register a speed. It has some rust spots. The transmission was replaced recently with a good used one. I estimate the tires have over half their life remaining. The muffler and shocks were recently replaced. I originally purchased this vehicle to restore and perform an LS conversion on, however I got busy and it became my daily driver until the engine crashed.
