This is a Numbers matching original survivor, it has been owned by only 2 people in the same family since purchased new in 1971. the car is beautiful with only 15506 miles, it has never been restored and has always been garbage kept and even moved in enclosed trailers since sold to my brother in 2012. it was originally factory pained Grabber Yellow and the original owner decided to paint it in the 1990s and he chose a dark blue. My brother decided to repaint it to its original color but then decided that he didn't like the yellow either so he choose a 1971 ford correct Pewter grey and then applied ford licensed decal. the car is truly amazing all the belts, hoses and rubber goods were replaced in 2012 and the car is amazing. the other day it was started after setting in storage under a car cover for 8 moths if fired on the third crank. this car was run on classic night at rocky mountain Raceway in SLC utah for many years but it was meticulously maintained kept in correct manufacturers spec for all these year. it seems that as long as I've know of the car (20 plus years) it was never parked outside overnight or driven in the rain. The car is up for auction with a very low reserve. the car is located in Manila Utah and the owner is in Alaska so I will be managing the sale. Te car was valued for insurance purposses at 49000 but we are classic car collectors and have spoke to mustang collectors and we are realistically looking for around half that but reserve will be set even more conservatively. I will not tell anyone what the reserve is set at so please don't ask but know it is low.
