Regretfully I am selling my 2002 Porsche 911 Carrera 2 Cabriolet (Black/Black, Manual Transmission). Please note that the mileage indicated above is engine/mechanical mileage. The car itself has about 86k miles on it but the previous owner had the engine replaced in 2014 with a 2003 911 engine that had about 18k at the time of install. All major service and preventative maintenance has been performed. It has the LN Enginering IMS, newer RMS, newer AOS, new clutch, new window actuator, newer top, etc. Pretty much anything that could possibly be suspect on a 996 has been addressed. It's a long list which is all below. Keep this in mind when you are looking as it's very important on the 996 and this one is done and ready to enjoy for a very, very long time!We originally purchased this car as a weekend car/beach cruiser. In a year it's been to the beach once and I've only driven it locally. Since I work from home I have not put a lot of miles on it and I hate to see this beauty sitting. It's not anything we need to sell, just figured someone else could enjoy it... so feel free to make an offer. There are some blemishes that you would expect on a 2002 model, but you have to be close to see them (few filled rock chips and surface scratches on the hood, let me know if you want a pic) and a good detailer should be able to get them out. Otherwise the car shines great and the paint is smooth. The car was backed into in a parking lot in 2009 (previous owner) and a report was filed. Even though a report was filed it was a parking lot, non driving event which is why the title is clean and the Autocheck score remains high. I have a copy of the report as well as other paperwork including the installation of the engine and some other service items listed below. I did a PPI before I purchased the car and the service manager said it was one of the cleanest 996.2 examples he's ever seen (PPI is on file with Porsche of North Scottsdale).
