This 1975 Triumph TR6 with original topaz paint, electric overdrive and factory removable hard top is a genuine gem with only 15,000 miles on the odometer. When I got it from a Lotus dealer in Vero Beach, Florida last year it had been sitting in a garage for a long time and had only 13.000 miles on it. I had it trucked to Sarasota and put it into the hands of Steve Smith, a skilled British Car mechanic at the Twin Cam Sports Car Shop. After he replaced a few items and tuned it all up and got the factory over drive working, Brooks Hirz, a professional body shop man, buffed the dullish Topaz paint to a gleaming finish. The result was truly amazing. Since the rubber tires were in poor condition, I replaced all four with original equipment red line tires. Also, the rubber gasket around the windshield needed replacement and it is now water proof. The convertible top has new isinglass windows which are quite clear, and the top, tonneau cover and convertible top boot are is as-new condition. The AM/FM radio has a remote control and a CD player included. The engine and factory installed electric over drive work perfectly. I even replaced the dash instrument lights with LED bulbs which make them much more visible than the original incandescent types. Since the hood release handle is connected to a wire which has been known to break, I had an auxiliary hood release installed in the cockpit as a back up. This is an attention getting original classic British sports car. I am stopped at lights and parking lots every day by admiring onlookers because it is so unique. Whoever buys this car will really love it . It can be seen at my home in Sarasota, Florida.
