I bought this Jimmy from Texas in September 2014 and it is completely rust free, Body was stripped to bare metal and professionally repainted , I have owned a collision repair facility for 23 years, so yes it is straight and paint is show quality, I also replaced the hood with a Goodmark 2 1/2" steel cowl hood.The rear of the front fenders were moved back 5" and the bottom of the front of the fenders were raised 5" for better tire clearance, look closely at the pic's you can't tell it was ever done, I included a couple pic's of it in process along with the body in process. The top was removed and converted to a full convertible, the windshield pillars were cut approximately 6" down and a 1974 windshield frame was grafted on , you cannot tell it was ever done.I changed the tailgate to a truck style as I was going to put a soft top on it, but never did. It comes with the original tale-gate if buyer wants it and the full hard top from the 1974. It now has a full custom built 6 point roll cage. I also has custom built pre-runner style bumpers made of 1 3/4" dom 120 wall tubing, the front has a place to mount a winch. It has Weld 16.5 X10 Typhoon wheels and 37" Goodyear MT's. The front axle is a Dana 60 with an ARB air locker, the rear is a Corporate 14 bolt full floater with a Detroit locker, both have been completely gone through with new bearings, brakes, calipers, seals, rotors, drums, and both have 4:56 gears and font has Off Road Design cross over steering with a new steering gear. Drive shafts are custom made heavy duty for correct length with all new U-joints rear has the double carden joint behind a slip yolk eliminator . Interior is very nice with the exception of the dash has a few cracks. I built this to play on the dunes at Silver Lake here in Michigan. I hate to sell it but I need money to finish a new house. On May-31-15 at 16:27:49 PDT, seller added the following information: I forgot to add it still has the original 350 TBI engine , it runs excellent, a 700R4 trans. that has been rebuilt with the new upgrades it even chirps the tires when it shifts into 2nd gear. The tires are absolutely new with virtually no wear. I have added a lot of photos that should help.
