The vehicle currently had 116,394 miles and was removed from service in March 2015 as part of our normal vehicle rotation cycle. The tires have approximately 30 - 40% tread remaining. The truck needs the oil & filter changed. The truck may also require a tune up and exhaust replacement in the near future. The exterior is in poor condition. In has surface rust present on the chassis & in multiple locations on the body panels of the truck due to extensive use during snow & ice removal operations. The plow frame is faded & rusting. The roof has a plugged & sealed hole from where an antenna was previously mounted. The driver side front fender has an approximate 10 inch long cut in the paint which is rusting. The driver side front wheel well edge is rusting & lining material is coming loose. The lower portion by the driver door has a dent present. The driver door is dented at the lower portion, has multiple door dings present, & is rusting at the lower edge. The driver side of the bed is rusting around the wheel well & lining material is coming loose. The tailgate is rusting at the bottom edge. The passenger side fender beneath the rear tail light has a cut in the paint. The passenger side of the bed is rusting around the wheel well & lining material is coming loose. The passenger door is rusting at the lower edge. The passenger side front wheel well edge is rusting & lining material is coming loose. The interior is in fair condition. The driver seat bottom, seat back, & arm rest fabric has worn through & the foam in all location is showing and worn. There are two screw holes & indentations at the front center edge and rear center edge of the headliner from where warning lights were previously installed. There is one large hole in the dash to the left side of the steering column from where a gauge was previously installed. This vehicle was serviced on a 120-day preventive maintenance cycle. It was last serviced in Dec 2014 at 110,861 miles. Other repairs to this vehicle include the following. In Apr 2015, corroded wiring under the hood was repaired. In Feb 2015, at 115,393 miles, the plow hydraulic reservoir tube was repaired. Also in Feb 2015, the right side plow light wiring was repaired. In Jan 2014, at 102,450 miles, the plow bolts were replaced & the right side plow light tightened. In Sep 2013, at 100,720 miles, the left side plow blade, right side plow blades, center blade rubber flap & center brackets were replaced. Also, the gas pedal assembly was repaired & the idle air control valve was replaced. In Jan 2013, at 94,750 miles, the left front turn signal bulb was replaced & the mounting tab repaired. In Aug 2012, at 90,922 miles, the left front turn signal bulb was replaced & the turn signal housing was repaired. In early Aug 2012, at 90,755 miles, the front tires were replaced. In Apr 2012, at 88,261 miles, the spark plugs & spark plug boots were replaced. In Oct 2011, at 83,410 miles, the right side plow marker & two hydraulic valves were replaced. Also, the plow hydraulic system was flushed. In Aug 2011, at 81,917 miles, the exhaust was replaced. In Nov 2005, at 17,848 miles, the left rear turn signal bulb was replaced. This vehicle can be viewed between the hours of 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., Monday through Friday, excluding national holidays, at the City of Champaign Public Works Department, 702 Edgebrook Drive, Champaign, Illinois. The vehicle must be picked up between the hours of 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., Monday through Friday at the same location. The City of Champaign is required to sell all vehicles through an auction process.
