Vehicle Detail

1969 Mercury Cougar, 351 Windsor 4 barrel, automatic, power steering(pump needs to be replaced) power disk brakes, air conditioner, just out of 5 year storage, I bought this car with the hopes of making an eliminator clone since I have a 70 all original, but after over five years of paying indoor storage I realize that is not going to happen any time soon. I drove the car from were I purchased the car to the storage and is been in storage ever since, I lost the keys in 2011, and I just replaced the ignition switch to have the cart running again, so no keys for the trunk or doors ( I removed the lock to the trunk to have access to it. the body and interior are in fair condition for a 46 year old car the drivers side door has a dent but a replacement door is included with the sale the passenger door glass is out but included with the sale. Tires are like new. I had the car running for couple of days and at the beginning you can still hear some lifter noise for being sitting for so many years, also I noticed some transmission fluid on the floor, over all a pretty decent car for an eliminator clone or keep it all original. Please ask question or request more pictures of specific areas that you want to see before bidding since I don't accept any refunds for any reason so make sure that you know what are you buying . thanks for looking and happy biddingOn May-22-15 at 10:19:07 PDT, seller added the following information: Here are the first numbers of the vin 9F91H5XXXXX I will post the numbers on the door trim tag tomorrow. According to the VIN Number the engine is a 351 2V, I'm going to verify if the actual carburetor is a 2 or 4 barrel and update the listing with the correct information. Also the moulding missing on the trunk is included with the car. Thanks On May-22-15 at 15:49:09 PDT, seller added the following information: Here are the numbers from the door trim tag, BODY: 65A, COLOR: P, TRIM: 1B, DATE: 04F, DSO:51 Also the carburetor is the original 2 barrel. Thanks
