I bought this car in February with intentions of fixing up and driving on weekends. However, plans have changed and the car has to go. The car itself is in good condition in and out for its age. It should not take much to get this thing road worthy. All I have done to the car is adjust the carburetor, put a new battery in and put gas in the tank. I drove this car from my fathers house to mine (7 miles) and when I got into my neighborhood the car was running hot. I ran a gallon of coolant through and it did it again. I am not sure where the problem lies with the temperature. I can tell you the oil is clean (not milky) but am not able to make any guarantee on what the problem is. Maybe just a stuck thermostat or water pump? Power steering works but will loose all fluid within 10 minutes of driving the car. The car does run strong and transmission shifts fine, the thing is fast and loud. It's got the 472 with dual pipes. I do not know much more about the car but can say it is a very solid foundation for a restore or fix the steering and cooling and keep it low and loud and drive it around. There is no rust that I have been able to find and the car is complete. Located in Littleton Colorado which is 20 minutes south of Downtown Denver. Please contact me for further questions on the car.
