Selling Grandma and Grandpa's 1978 Lincoln Continental Mark V Diamond Jubilee. They are in their 80's and 90's now and the Lincoln is just not getting used. This is a two owner car purchased from the original owners in the early 80's. The original owner was actually a diamond jeweler in Southern California. He purchased the car new for his wife as an anniversary present. As legend has it, the original owner's wife swears she lost her wedding ring inside this car and never found it. I have not been able to find the ring. If you find it it's yours however, for the sake of this auction, let's assume it is just a legend. This 1978 Diamond Jubilee has just 79,665 original miles. The car was mostly used for special occasions and always used for church on Sunday. Being an original California Car moved to Southern Utah, this is a rust free car as in NO RUST EVER. The car has accumulated clear coat scratches, paint chips and a few trim dings over the years. No accidents. The car runs and drives well but has had limited use over the last 20 years so expect to give her a tune up. I did put newer tires on the car in preparation for this auction. The tires are correct for the car and have less than 500 miles on them. The A/C, power windows, brakes, locks, seats etc are all operational. The power antenna was damaged when she was removed from storage. The driver's side tail light trim will need replaced. Original spare tire and jack are present. Over all this is a well preserved low mileage rust free collector vehicle.
