I have a 1989 Corvette Convertible for sale. The car has less than 52,000 miles right now, but will go up as I enjoy it whenever possible! It has the 350 Tuned Port engine with a 700R4 automatic transmission. I have a list of recent things done to it. DO NOT BID OR BUY UNLESS YOUR SERIOUS! I DO NOT TAKE MONTHLY PAYMENTS! I AM NOT A BANK AND I WILL NOT BE SCAMMED BY SHIPPING YOU THE CAR WITHOUT FULL PAYMENT!! I apologize to the legitimate e-bayers for this. I just had my time wasted by a scammer trying to get me to ship the car to him and he would make monthly payments on it. This was after he agreed to "Buy it now" RECENTLY COMPLETED:* It's been repainted within the last couple of years and has a really nice finish* The seats have both been re-covered with a nice soft leather.* The engine has recently been rebuilt, but I don't have specifics or receipts. I knew the person I bought it from and trusted him to his word. He did say it has a bigger cam installed but didn't know any details. * The rims and tires are newer and are in very nice shape.* The top has also been replaced recently with a new one. NEEDS ATTENTION:* The passengers side window isn't quite straight and needs re-aligning.* The factory Bose radio does not work and needs either repair or replacement.* The driver side door does not unlock with the key. The lock cylinder turns but doesn't feel like it's attached to anything inside the door. * The paint work is very nice but not mint. It has normal nicks and scratches from being driven and enjoyed. It is not a cheap paint job!* The exhaust has through rust on the bottom of it from the cat back. It's from sitting and the water/condensation laying in the bottom of the pipes. It's not really noticeable and can be driven like it is easily for a couple more years. A replacement exhaust here on E-Bay is around $250 - $300 for a Walker set up. Over all the car runs, rides, and drives VERY nice and is a blast to drive with the top down. It has had a ton of money spent on it the last few years trying to keep it up. If your looking for a car you can enjoy while tinkering on the small things, this car is for you! It has a book value between $12,000 and $22,000 so you can't go wrong.
