For sale is hard to find in this condition 1982 Mazda pickup truck B2200 Diesel engine 2.2 liter 4 cylinder type Mazda S-2 /Perkins - has timing gears/ with 5 speed manual transmission. Cab is clean, dashboard has no cracks, floor carpet in good condition, always covered by another piece of carpet, seats look good, all lights work properly, A/C and heat good, all windows, doors, seals, locks, everything in good condition. No bad smell in cabin. Original lifting jack stored in proper place. I lifted carpet from the floor to show you how solid is the floor under carpet. Long bed is covered by original cap since day one by first original owner. Truck was used by first owner mostly like a recreational vehicle for fishing trips. Bed had installed mattress and a lot of fishing stuff. Truck spent 22 years in Homestad AFB Florida. When original owner passed away in 2004, truck was transferred by his son to Illinois and sold. I'm, the owner from 2004. I took good care of the truck. I'm a retired mechanic and I know diesel sound music. I love it. Before my retirement fuel injection pump was redone by MFI, equipped with new Viton O-rings, calibrated and bench tested. New shocks were installed, whole exhaust system was replaced, tires in good condition with thread 7/32". Truck drives and performs great. It's a great economic truck with 26 MPG in city and 37 MPG or more on highway, depends on the length of the trip, weather condition and speed. On full tank I have 450 to 630 miles or more. It's not a show truck. It's better than a good truck for everyday driving. It's perfect for diesel lovers on longer distance. Truck is very solid with minimum rust. Maintenance is very easy and simple. I have all service records since my ownership from 2004.Truck can be viewed by appointment with the Seller.
