This car is in Mankato Mn and will be pick up there. I bought this car in 1992 while stationed at Ft. Hood Texas, was sent to Germany the following year, and the car was placed into storage. I went back down to Texas in 2004 and brought the car back to Minnesota with intentions of restoring the car, but have yet to find the time to complete the project. The car has been inside ever since being placed into storage almost 23-years ago with the exception of being tailored from Texas to Minnesota 11-years ago. The car has minimal corrosion issues as can be seen in the photos and the strut towers, wheel wells, rockers, and underside are in great shape. I attempted to document all corrosion issues and there is rust on the front hood lip and the passenger side rear wheel well lip. I would also recommend replacing the spare tire bucket also and the battery tray as they both exhibit deterioration by corrosion. The dash is original and has zero cracks and I have two spare consoles. I have all of the parts for the car, with the exception of carpet. While I was stationed in Germany is acquired a large collection of spare parts for this car. There are too many to list, but the major parts are as follows: engine, cylinder heads, intake manifolds, exhaust parts, stainless steel brake lines, distributors, front bumper, rear bumper, windshield, black front door cards, black rear door cards, two consoles, original Becker stereo, at least two gauge sets, and much more. Sorry I did not picture the spare parts collection, it is all boxed up in storage, and everything BMW I have comes with the car. I believe the spare parts collection I have is quite valuable. I understand that many of the spare parts I have are difficult to come by and are probably worth more than the car. This car needs someone who has the time and patience to restore her to her original glory, as I have neither and not enough money to pay someone to complete the project for me.
