Vehicle Detail
THE OVERVIEW Offered for an appreciating new owner is this rare classic 1989 BMW 325I E30 two door 5 speed sedan! Finished in "zinnoberrot" red over tan, this twenty six year-old three series BMW has been driven about 7,000 miles per year average with the recently-stopped odometer reading 158,XXX miles. [Estimated actual mileage is about 175,000] This 99.9% RUST-FREE California and Texas car sports a superb running 2.5 liter inline six cylinder engine mated to a rare and desirable 5 speed manual transmission. Stopping power is provided by four wheel disc brakes. This little E30 sports electric windows, manual crank sunroof, factory "bottlecap" alloy wheels with excellent rubber, driver side leather sport seat, factory tool kit and is being sold with California title with current registration, This is a great find listed here at NO RESERVE! PLEASE CALL 650-307-2251 FOR QUESTIONS, TEST DRIVES AND/OR MECHANICAL INSPECTIONS. THE BODY AND TRIM The exterior of this 1985 BMW is in fair but virtually 100% rust-free condition overall. It has much clearcoat peeling on the top surfaces, along with typical rock nicks, touched up spots, missing black bumper moulding trim pieces and other light blemishes. Yes a paint refresh would really make this car stand out! THE INTERIOR The interior of this BMW is in pretty good original condition overall. Imperfections inside the car include mismatched seats [I have the torn original driver seat if desired by new owner], heat cracks on the dash top, OBC light out, sunroof crank not attached bu tstill functional, radio needs code and a/c not cold [never use it here]. THE DRIVING EXPERIENCE This 1989 BMW starts and runs quite well with strong acceleration eager-to-rev past the redline in all gears, solid braking and excellent lowered suspension. To make the driving experience closer to perfect I would address an air intake leak that gives rough idle otherwise this car is really satisfying to drive and one of the quickest most responsive and great handling I have experienced. I ALSO HAVE MANY MORE DETAILED PHOTOS AVAILABLE UPON REQUEST VIA EMAIL! THE DETAILS AND $$$$$ 1.
