Vehicle Detail

This Charger was being built as my personal restoration. It has been media blasted to the metal and had the unwanted parts removed. All metal aft of the doors has been professionally replaced. that's right new rear quarters, tail light panel, lower valance, entire trunk, gas tank and straps. also new front fenders. While the body is matching numbers, the engine and trans are not. it was an original 383 but did not have an engine or trans in it when I bought it.It now has a 440 with brand new engine mounts and a 727 torque flite that are numbers matching to themselves. I have upgraded the brakes to disc. The entire K- member has been removed. I welded a square 1/4 inch piece of steel on the center bottom then had it blasted and powder coated. the upper and lower control arms were removed, blasted, powder coated and replaced with new bushings installed. the inner and outer tie rod ends are all brand new. The torsion bar bushings, new. new heavy duty shocks. and upgrade to heavy duty torsion bars. In the rear the leaf springs have been replaced with a set from a satellite convertible ( extra springs) and were professionally heated and re arched. The car had no interior in it when I bought it. now I have the dashboard, center console, front seat frames (1970 Charger) and rear seat frames.also steering column and wheel. and new black carpet. After media blasting the entire car has been acid etch primed and painted with POR-15 to rust proof the steel entirely. The exterior has been primed with epoxy primer so It is water proof. The 440 and trans. are installed and as you read this the work is ongoing until it sells. We are moving across country (from Arizona to Florida) and leaving the last of May. The price for this car is better than fair so don't wait till last minute to bid. Also, If it doesn't get the asking price I will take it with me. good luck bidding.
