I bought this Porsche for my son for his 16 birthday he was really into 944's. He drove it for about 2 months and loved it. I realized that kids up at the high school did not care about the car next to them. It started to get a few door dings from other people up at the school. So rather than let a 80's icon be abused we fixed most of the dings and moved the car to the garage. We are the third owners; this car was an overseas delivery that the first owner picked up of in Germany and drive around for a few months and then sent back to Santa Barbra Ca. We still have the original oval license plate from Germany that will remain with the car. Since we have had the car we have done a few upkeep items to the car. We have installed a new radiator in due to small leak in original radiator; AC did not work when we received the car we had the compressor rebuilt/upgraded to the current 134 standards. It still has the origanl air pump and first aid kit that came with the car from the factory. This car has had the power steering rack and pinion taking off on the second owner's watch. It was replaced with a highly sought after racing manual rack and pinon that makes a blast to drive. The timing belt and the water pump where replaced around 10000 miles ago. The entire car has been inspected by a Porsche qualified Service Technician, all belts are within normal limits.
