Vehicle Detail
Welcome. You are bidding on a brilliant & vibrant 1974 Inka Orange BMW 2002 Exterior: This car still retains its original iconic INKA orange paint, this is the best color they made. The front passenger side fender has a small dent behind bumper; and there are some surface rust spots and body dings here and there. The spare tire well had some minor rust pinholes which were cut out and replaced with new welded in metal. The paint is coming off on the deck directly behind the rear seats, and there appears to only be minor amounts of surface oxidation, see photos. There are some shallow dents in the roof and hood you can see it the photos, which are apparently easy to remove. All of the doors and hoods close properly. All the chrome trim is intact. This car comes with a set of brand new OEM bmw E30 steel wheels painted with classic german 1Z Silver Spray Wheel Paint and Wurth High Gloss. Interior: This car has most of its original interior and it's in really good shape. There is an an authentic momo Prototipo steering wheel (the sale of this car includes the original OEM steering wheel as well). The front seats were replaced with super rare original BMW Recaro seats from an E21 3 series, they are mounted and slide on the factory seat rails. The front passenger door-side bolster has some cracking. The rear seats are in excellent shape and match the fronts in material and pattern. Not only that, they appear to be from a 2002 Turbo, but i'm not certain. Engine: All I have to go on is that this car runs strong and the odometer says 91,946. The exhaust was replaced with a brand new stainless steel exhaust from Ireland Engineering. Sounds fantastic, and not too loud. Overall: Mechanically this car is very solid and in very good shape. I love this car, it's a real pleasure to drive. I would keep it and restore it if I had the space, only selling it to free up garage for a boat –I know i'll regret it. It has a clean California title and registered. Car is being sold AS-IS, no return, no warranty. Buyer is responsible for shipping. Thanks for looking and good luck bidding!
