A little about me n the car.I was a street racer in the 70s.In 2003 I got the itch for a killer pro street car. I wanted a car #1 safe #2 super reliable #3 look really bad a$$ #4 FAST!! First stop lizard speed shop they went over the whole car upgraded radiator and electric fans (no overheating here ever!) complete flow master exhaust (sounds awesome) bg400 fuel pump ,hi cranking mini starter.Checked chasis n drive shaft and all undercarriage. All good! next stop NRC racecars .full cage with 2 swingouts (was certified to 8.50) custom rear wing, working parachute, new carpet ,imbroided seats, new matching harnesses n headliner,also custom trunk fabricated brackets with mini shocks to hold trunk up.Great work!! next stop Hassell auto body to fix a couple nicks n imperfections lol 8,500 later whole car was redone!! last stop Jazz audio for radio n speakers to enjoy over the motor n exhaust ,2,500 later(lol) sounds awesome with 2 amps behind seats!!car has been in 2 commercials jazz audio n hassell auto body ,also in the movie (Too fast too real)... So I ended up with a super reliable car that has NEVER left me broken down or needing a tow.starts right up idles fine (No putting in neutral at lights or traffic) no overheating problems ,just a lot of fun. Now about the car. Its got a 496 bbc canfield alum heads with Harland sharps rockers n stud girdles, eagle crank,je pistons,eagle h beam rods,comp roller cam. weiand 871 supercharger with 2 800 cfm holleys . 9 in. ford rear moser 33 spline axles 389 gears with strange spool. ladder bar suspension , adjustable coil overs. tci turbo 400 w/ trans break coan 8 in converter .3.5 in. driveshaft. hurst pistol grip shifter . line lock n removable bg steering wheel ,trans blanket.. never been too a track ,car is set up with very low boost n runs great on 93 octane , I would guess it runs mid to high 9s in street trim. previous owner said with 15 lbs of boost ,race fuel, slicks, it went hi 8s. drive down the street set off alarms everyone looks n takes pics. car don't have a hood,never wanted to hide that engine.car has no wipers, never been out in rain!! check out the movie !
