My father purchased this iconic car from his elderly neighbor, who was the original owner. He didn't own the car more than a week before his wife insisted it be sold-too many classics. This is when I inherited the beauty. Now, after sitting in my heated garage for the past few years, I've decided to sell the classic to someone who appreciates the car like my father. Cars aren't my passion, they're his. And honestly, I'm tired of it taking up the space. The car runs and drives; it's not our daily driver though. We only drive it on short trips maybe 6 times a year. The car originated from sunny California, and was a non-smoking car. This rare 1982 Mercedes has many, if not all, manufacturer originals that make it a true collector, gaining value with each passing year. Please email with any questions. *After an inquiry about the A/C, we backed the car out of the garage and let it idle. The A/C doesn't appear it get real cold but the compressor does kick on and off. I have no doubt the car could use a good tune up and Freon. When my father purchased the vehicle he had the car serviced by a local mechanic-oil changed, tires checked, filters, battery, new gasoline(2011) because it hadn't been driven, or even started, for a few years.
