Hello and thank you for viewing the auction for my 1976 Chevy Monte Carlo. The following is a complete description of condition as well as recent repairs and restoration. I purchased this Monte Carlo from a gentleman in Baltimore Md who owned it for 8 years and performed much restoration as well as performance upgrades. Due to debt issues he could not finish it and thus I bought it at a very good price. He had spent over 5 K on the motor build. It has a fresh built performace 350 which has ZERO hours on it. It is rated at 425 HP and when you fire it, that seems conservative. He also rebuilt the front end suspension and steering. It has a new radiator as well. New headers with complete dual exhaust also included. He performed much of the body work and there is ZERO rust on or underneath this car. It does need substantial sanding as well as work on the replaced left quarter. The interior is in very good condition with no tears to the seats, headliner, or dash. The trans has issues. It is a built perfomance turbo 350 with 2500 stahl converter, but the trans has a serious leak and the torgue converter is locking up. Trans will either need repair or replacement. In addition there is a leakin one of the rear brake lines. Rear lines need replacing and bleed. Other than that it is basically completion of body prep and paint. Every body, interior, and trim piece needed is included. Crates of spare parts come with the car. 2 spare hoods, bumpers, and new trunk pan also included. This is a very cool monte carlo and will be beast when finished. I had great plans to complete this project with my son but he was killed in an auto accident and I can't bring myself to work on it.
