1970 Honda CT70 K0 3-spd Auto, Matching #s, Completely Restored This is a very good restoration job that took me the better part of a year to complete. I would say less than 5% of the bike is non-OEM parts. Some that I can think of is the shocks and covers, the seat cover, tires, and maybe the license plate holder. Everything else is either original or NOS. The wiring harness, cables, ALL fasteners, brakes, grommets, chain, springs, you name it is NOS or original. The motor has been rebuilt and ran strong a year and a half ago. All internal drive gears and timing chain is new. Motor does not currently run. It has sat for over a year and the carb needs to be rebuilt. I have a rebuild kit and even a knock-off new carb, but just do not have the time to mess with it. Low buy-it-now price reflects this. The “paint” – the frame is actually powder coated to perfectly match the Ruby Red factory color. Look at the frame compared to the OEM headlight bucket to see how it matches. The frame was bead blasted and then professionally powder coated by Kevin Ayers in Texas who specializes in powder coating CT70s. I think there may only be about 20 of these in the country. All other painted parts have also been powder coated. Anyway, the “paint” will never chip. This bike has a build date of 6/70. #s are CT70-189211 and CT70E-188992; 219 apart. It had 1241 original miles when I bought it. It has 1291 now. The numbers “match”. If you know these bikes, you will know that frame and motor numbers are considered to be matching if they are within a few hundred of each other.
