1964 Mercury Monterey with a 390ci 2 barrel carb, and a multi drive , automatic transmission, with a 3.00 rear axle. Miles read 56,626 unknown...Really cool car, I don't think I have seen one prior. CAR IS PRICED TO SELL NOW, NOT TAKING PENNIES< JUST PRICED RIGHT... LESS THAN 1,000 Isn't going to get it, lets be reasonable, I need to make some money and you want the cheapest price...well this is the only one is this range...so click the button.. Motor sounds really good and not making any crazy noises.... Car will fire up with gas in the carb or starter fluid on a couple cranks. Previous owner drove the car until around 7mos ago. The breaks were low on fluid so I added fluid and they need to be bled. There is significant rust in the roof area, truck upper area and various other placing there is rust. Floors and lower portions, rockers and much of the car is in solid good shape. Whoever did the work just bonded the trunks drip panels which separated. You could fix whats there by replacing the roof, or portions, and cut out rear deck area's. Hood bulge looks to be from a thunderbird, the body work is coming out and the deck lid has rust. Cars under carriage and other parts are in good condition, you could part the car out for more than I'm asking. Car would be a great parts car, or rat rod, every piece of aluminum or chrome appears to be there, I looked up used pieces and if you were to need the parts you're well over 3500 just in parts.All the glass is good including the rear glass. I have tried to take pictures of most everything I think is the worst and what not. I hand polished a few spots to show that this cars trim and glass will clean nice... Rims are sport rims and tires are good, not dry rotted, another 600 bucks easy with tires. Interior panels are not stock but in really good condition along with the dash. All and all really great car because everything is there, if you needed this,,,that...etc, this is the car for the ride you've been wanting to do. Alot of the parts used are not readily available. Appears this trim will also fit the other Mercury cars. "MAKE YOUR OFFER" all real offers will be considered, If you need it, don't let it get away....
