1970 Dodge Dude, one of 200 made...this is a real Dude...318, 3 speed stick....I bought this truck 7 years ago, I drove it to local car shows for the first year in its original un-restored condition....I bought the truck from the estate of the man who bought this truck in South Carolina in 1971...it was used on a farm to go to town and other chores.....the truck is 99% rust free...you wont find a more solid 1970 any where.....the inside of the bed had the fender wells pretty beat up so I replaced the bed with another bed off a 1970 ....it is very straight....will not need spray in bed liner to look good...I had the underside of the bed blasted and sprayed with rust-oleum ....I pulled the engine...installed a new USA made oil pump and timing chain...installed new gaskets and painted the engine...the truck runs excellent.......the man who bought the truck in 1971 had moved the shifter to the floor .....I replaced the floor shifter with a new Mr Gasket floor shifter. I had the engine compartment painted,the underside of the hood,the front of the bed and the back of the cab painted.....I was going to have the rest of the truck sprayed after I bolted the bed on. When I first bought the truck , I took it to a local graphics shop and had them measure everything up for new decals.....they even traced the old ones (the entire side of the truck) and had everything ready to make new decals after I got the paint done.....I think someone is selling them on EBAY now too. The truck has new brakes, shocks, radiator re-core, gaskets for the windshield and back glass (the glass is not installed, but comes with truck).....the truck comes with a new Mopar ignition, not installed yet. I bought the wheels from Stockten Wheel ..they are 15 inch powder coated wheels with 4 new BF Goodrich tires....the wheels are complete with beauty rings and baby moons......I would deduct $500.00 from the final price if you dont want the tires and wheels.....and I would include the original Red Circle hub caps that are in great shape........this is a real Dude...a part of Mopar history one of 200 made ......please ask questions.....you will get honest answers from me...I can provide more pictures upon request.....$300.00 non-refundable deposit.....Thanks, for looking!On Mar-12-15 at 18:49:39 PDT, seller added the following information: This truck comes with all the original parts including the RED CIRCLE hubcaps . The original front seat shows very little wear....I have a mint dash pad that goes with the truck.......I have been collecting extra parts for this truck for a few years and Im going to include them in the sale....the extra parts will include a nice radiator and shroud , a gas tank in good condition ......many trim pieces off Sweptlines ......I will include all my Sweptline extra Sweptline parts.....health issues are preventing from working on the truck....so everything goes......Thanks Again!
