Thank you for viewing my auction for my 1998 Jaguar XJ8. This XJ8 is in very good mechanical condition and can be driven anywhere, anytime, without any worries. It is driven regularly and has been well maintained. I am the second owner and purchased it from a local car dealer when traded in on a newer vehicle. The following is an overall condition report as well as recent mechanicals performed. Only 109,704 original miles. Motor runs perfectly and transmission shifts smoot and tight. Oil and transmission serviced. Brakes have been done within last 10,000 miles. Complete tune up and maintenance performed. Tires have over 70% treadlife left. Front end alignment performed within last 6000 miles. Fresh battery. Recent Maaco paint job. Body in decent shape and looks good going down the road.. Rides smooth and handles well. Although interior is not perfect it is clean with minimal tears in leather. Headliner has been tacked as it was starting to sag. All windows operate properly except the passanger rear window. All doors open from both inside and out but central lock does not activate rear doors. Trunk lock needs to be replaced but trunk operational from rear latch. (access behind rear tag). This is a very good driving and dependable XJ8 with low miles. It has not been abused and has been well maintained. I have put aproximately 20,000 miles on it since I purchased in 2013 and it has never broken down on me once. I love these models and recently purchased a newer XJR and thus am selling this XJ8 to payoff the XJR. You can bid with confidence . This is a no reserve auction with $500 starting bid.
