Vehicle Detail
1968 Dodge Charger, 2 dr Red with White vinyl top, red & white interior, short back buckets with console ... shows 93,000 on the speedo ... 318 V-8 small block, turns over by hand, AT (engine & trans may or may not be original, haven't checked numbers - the trans is painted blue, so at some time was replaced/rebuilt). Purchased from the original owner, complete with his original bill of sale from April 1968 ... and dealer maintenance invoices. Car had been hidden away in a garage for over 31 years, then it was spotted after the garage collapsed and the car was dragged out to allow for the clean up. This car was purchased with the plan to restore, but the wife say one Charger is enough. So the '69 stays and the '68 goes. There is an original owners manual with the original cert card. Car comes with clear Manitoba title (TOD). Car is located about 30 minutes North of Winnipeg on Highway #59. This car is almost complete, but requires complete restoration ... there is a lot of rust so the car will need floors, rockers, fenders ... check out the pictures carefully! It has 10" drum brakes all around. In the Mopar Muscle Magazine April 2012 there is the story of the two Chargers c/w pictures ... story is called "Nice Pair of Hidden Treasures" ... to see the story click on link: http://www.hotrod.com/cars/featured/mopp-1204-1968-1969-dodge-charger-a-nice-pair/ Here is a link to a youtube video, it is 10 minutes, and shows the car on the hoist so you can see what is rusty and what is not, also shows a good walk around. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V9TQXbjVC4c Also there are over 250 pictures on photo bucket, here is the link: http://s853.photobucket.com/user/99cuda/library/1968%20Charger?sort=3&page=1 Please look at pictures & video before you bid, Thankyou! Questions please call Kevin 1-204-471-0505 between 9:00 am and 10:00 pm local time. Shipping/duty/taxes are the responsibility of the purchaser ... however, help to load onto a trailer will be provided. If you need a shipper, there is a local person I have used many times and never had a problem with, I can give you contact info if required. On Mar-08-15 at 11:05:30 PDT, seller added the following information: Note: car is relisted due to non paying bidder - a zero feedback person that has been a member since 1999 ... really, since 1999 and he/she hasn't bought one thing, just likes to bid and keep genuine bidders from purchasing items. So, no more zero feedback bidders. If you are new to e-bay and want to bid, please call first ... a bid is a contract, please respect that. There are a few more cars I need to sell, I have put up pictures on photo bucket ... use the link above and then go to Kevins Kars ... if you would like a preview ... vehicles are: 1958 Dodge Town Panel on a newer 4 x 4 chassis 1966 Plymouth Sport Fury Convertible 1966 Chrysler Windsor 1972 Plymouth Satellite 1974 Plymouth Road Runner 1971 Plymouth Valiant Scamp 1973 Dodge Challenger (Shell Only) This link may work to get to these pictures directly ... http://s853.photobucket.com/user/99cuda/library/Kevins%20Kars?sort=2&page=1 Questions: please call Kevin 1-204-471-0505 between 9:00 am and 10:00 pm local time. On Mar-08-15 at 11:16:46 PDT, seller added the following information: Rules about bidding and paying You must pay for any item you commit to buying. Some eBay sellers use an auction-style format, allowing you to bid on an item. Bidding is fun, but keep in mind that each bid you make is a binding contract to buy the item if you win. The same is true for Buy It Now purchases. Not paying for an item after you agree to buy it has negative consequences, explained in our unpaid item policy. You can only bid if you really intend to buy the item, even if you're making a non-binding bid.You can only make non-binding bids on certain items, such as real estate and vehicles. This type of bid still means that you intend to buy the item. The bottom line is, don't place a bid unless you mean to buy the item. Make sure that you read the listing description before you bid. Many of the problems buyers and sellers encounter are the result of simple misunderstandings about what is for sale and the terms of the sale. For example, some sellers only want to sell to bidders who live in a certain country, or who will pay using PayPal. Only bid on or buy an item if you can meet the requirements described in the listing. If you bid on an item and you don't meet the seller's requirements, we consider that unwelcome and malicious buying.
