For Sale 1978 Lotus Elite 504, actual 31,321 miles. Building was custom built to store the car. After 20 years the door was opened and I purchased the vehicle to resale. Because the purchase was made to resale, instead of changing all fluids and so forth we connected an IV type connection and cranked the motor which ran well.We are not that familiar with Lotus fluids etc. we are more into American Muscle Cars. So I wouldn't say this Lotus needs to be restored, but handled with care to put back on road. The only visual things I see wrong is some of the foam in the interior seems to be sightly collapsing due to long term storage. So the car is now up for sale to a Lotus enthusiastic. The car looks and sounds to be in good condition. So it's now ready to go.Texas transfer to my name with the age of the car, mileage is exempt, but we do have notarized statement from the estate stating that the 31K miles is true and correct. So bid in confidence that this is not a car to be restored, but one that needs a little TLC concerning fluids etc. We have seen clean Lotus Elite's that have been driven, not stored, not low mileage sell for over 10K.
