Feel free to text with offers or questions: 240-356-7259 I've got a 1998 Ford F-150 up for sale or trade. XL model, with the short bed and a cap. It needs work, but if you're looking for a good solid truck, this'll do it for you. It'll run and drive right now, so you can drive it home, and if you can deal with the quirks, you can just leave it as-is. It's 2wd, has a v6 engine,188k on the body, but only about 80-90k on the engine. Also has an upgraded stereo, plus a newer windshield and battery. It has a tow ball on the bumper, and hookups for trailer lights. The issues are highlighted below, but like I said, it runs dependably, and will get you from point A to B every time in its current condition.I bought this planning to fix it up, but it turns out I don't need a truck right now. I bought it from the original owners, but I've only had it for a couple months, so it's essentially a one-owner car. The problems with it are:Good bit of rust (I did my best to show it all in the pictures). The engine idles rough, I think it might be the spark plug wires. It's only a rough idle though, and the engine runs strong as soon as you're moving. In warmer weather it starts right up, but in really cold (single digit) weather it will occasionally take two tries to get going. It always starts though!Those are the big issues. Other than that it has some smaller things as well: needs front tires, needs a hinge pin for the tailgate, key is a little sticky, parking break doesn't work. The wipers are controlled by a switch on the dash. That's everything that I know about, but please feel free to ask any questions you might have about it.
