Up for sale in El Paso,Texas is this beautiful Emerald green 1968 Chevrolet c10 short bed truck. This is a good example of a driver. This is not a fully restored truck. If you are looking for a fully restored truck,you can find one for $30 grand on Ebay or Barret Jackson. This is a truck that is priced really low for the average Joe like myself that can enjoy a classic on a budget. It has a v8 305 small block with an Edelbrock carburetor, aluminum intake, headders with true dual exhaust,Hei ignition, power steering and power brakes. It also has an automatic 700r4 transmission. The truck runs good,however,the engine and transmission are not new. I have driven this truck on the highway at 70 mph with no problems. It is actually a very dependable truck. The headlights,brake lights, turn signals, and parking lights are in good working order as well as the heater!. Oil pressure gauge and temp work as well. The gas tank was removed and replaced with another one and relocated to the back of the truck. The fuel sending unit is not working. This truck was lowered 3 inches and has really cool 20x10 custom rims and Kumo tires. The stance on this truck is very nice! Just like any old car,this truck still needs work though,the floors are in good shape,but the rockers and brackets should be replaced. I took pics of the underneath to show you. The paint is very shiny and looks good from 10 feet away,but there are some flaws.(again I took pics). I would have to say it is Not a car show paint job. The hood hood is recommended to be replaced. The hood hinges that bolt on the hood are bad. The good news is that I have one hood hinge and an extra spring that go with the truck. I had planned to buy a new cowl induction hood, but never did. I also have extra paint to match the color of the truck should you replace the hood! All in all, this is a great deal for a classic truck like this ! This truck gets tons of compliments every where I go. You are more than welcome to have Ebay inspect the truck or any inspection company you like.
