This is one of the Rarest of Bay Window VW Buses, 1st year of the Bay Window series, Special Order (1) year only Arizona Yellow Paint! Located in Sunny California This 1968 Arizona Yellow Deluxe 7 passenger bus is absolutely AWESOME. From the moment you jump in it, start it up, and drive it, you instantly know you are driving a very fun, yet desirable bus, believed to be 89k miles (but actual miles are unknown). This deluxe is a clean, stock example that many of us dreamed of owning when new. This is the only one available in the marketplace. It has a strong running 1600cc single port engine, just tuned, and runs great. This bus has always been taken care of, never been hit, never been in salt or snow, always been a dry California Bus, only cancer is in the front floors (minor) and the battery tray. It looks to have been painted many, many, years ago, most would say its original paint with a nice patina! This is one of the COOLEST vintage 1968 Volkswagen Deluxe buses around. This may be the last one you may find. In my mind, for long-term value and blue chip investment, this is a great start. The interior is also all complete and correct, seat covers are readily available. If you have been searching, you know how difficult they are to find in this condition! This 1968 Arizona Yellow Deluxe Bus is a lot of fun to drive -- all the lights, blinkers, wipers etc. work as they should. Please remember this is a 1968 so it's not perfect; it has minor dings and scratches to be expected for being almost 50 years old.
