First, let me say that I am not a AMC guy so I'll do my best to present this car as honestly as I can. You are looking at a unfinished restoration project. I found this project in basement of a house and here is what previous owner told me about this car but not 100% verified: It was a father/son project that was abandoned about 3 years ago. Project is about 98% completed. Work done was really high quality and detailed. Nearly every part is a zero-time-overhaul including engine, transmission, rearend, A/C system, brake system, carburetor, charging system, suspension system, exhaust system, interior, etc. This AMX has had a exterior color change from Regatta Blue to Bittersweet Orange which looks great. Original factory options are as follows: Go-Package, Power Steering, Air Conditioning, Tilt Steering Wheel, AM Radio, Automatic transmission, Leather interior. Body appears rust free and complete. I believe all necessary parts are present to complete car. I was told the entire suspension system was overhauled using polyurethane bushings, front and rear. Car has 390-4V engine and optional M-12 Borg-Warner automatic transmission. I received no paper work or documentation with car so don't ask. I put gas in tank and the 390 started easily and sounds great. Run about 15 minutes. I've filled all system (excluding A/C) with fluid for functional check and all systems seem to work. Work left to be done to complete car: Battery, bleed brakes (they are mushy), charge A/C system, install dash center piece (included), align front end, functional test all system to ensure road worthiness. For a little work this will make someone a really nice, sharp looking car. Car will need to be truck/trailer transported. Not currently road worthy. Being sold AS-IS, WHERE-IS without warranty. That's about all I know about car. A $1000.00 non-refundable deposit will be required via Pay-Pal within 24hrs of end of this auction and balance in cash, bank wire transfer or certified bank check within 2 days of auction end. All funds will need to clear my bank before car's release. No trades.
