The engine is a really good motor and runs crazy! fast! Mechanically this is a good truck to take to the next level ( see engine pics)Body is mostly straight, has surf rust, and paint cracks. I feel it is the part of the truck that need most attention but is for the most part a solid truck. The bed is good ( not great ) but they are so hard to find? that this one is pretty good, and the tail gate works and is in fairly good shape.This was to be my next project and I was planning on getting the metal work done, sanded and spray a satin black primer on it.I bought this from a guy who had dumped over $ 7,000 into it and then had a personal problem come up. The truck sat parked for 4 years, until I got it.....l I have bought all the parts listed, and was working towards comp[letting body work etc... I was told by my wife to cut back on projects so I'm selling off a few. I wasn't too happy about selling this. the SHORT BED FLEETSIDES are very hard to find in decent shape that are NOT a fortune $$$. LOW RESERVE.......... The last buyer bought it from the original owner. Truck has a clear California Pink Slip ( which is signed off ready for transfer) Because the fuel tank was just replaced and fuel lines, fuel filter, the fuel pump ( we felt ) was also clogged and needed replacing. We just put a new Holley Mechanical Fuel Pump on it today. There is surface rust as I have explained but there are not any holes or " Swiss Cheese" , its reasonably solid. I did make a sound video if you want to hear it running. FYI
