This is the first year model with chrome handles and bumpers.I have a clear Florida title .It is registered in my name and is tagged with a Florida Antique Plate.Approximately 2,000 miles on mechanical rebuild....................... I purchased this vehicle about a year ago from an elderly gentleman who happened to be a mechanic. He had owned the car for about 17 years. After he retired, he decided to update the vehicle. He replaced the original three main bearing engine with a completely rebuilt 1980 MGB five bearing one. The original transmission was replaced with a completely rebuilt 1980 synchronized transmission with overdrive. He did the rebuild himself.The 6 volt electrical system was upgraded to a 12 volt system. Other improvements were also made to improve handling and braking. He saved most parts, including the engine and transmission , just in case he might want to restore the car back to its original state. I still have them and they will be included , if desired............................. The car appears to have had one repaint. There is no evidence that the vehicle was ever involved in an accident.The paint shines nicely, but does have a few scratches and dings . There is paint bubbling on the left rear wheel well.The interior , which include seats, door panels, carpets and dash, are all in very good condition, as well as the trunk carpeting.The chrome is excellent . No rust or corrosion is evident anywhere.The undercarrage is also very good. I have the original wheels with the chrome rings and "moons". An extra radiator ( new and still in the box ), front grill , a regular convertible top, and more. The car rides and handles well. It will do highway speeds with no problems. It is driven at least once a week . .......................... If your have questions, please ask before bidding. But, keep in mind ........
