Vehicle Detail

Heres a great old ford to build. Easy project compared to most 82 year old cars. Came from Ca. to Michigan in early 70's. Was a show rod in the 70's and taken apart in early 80's. Never put back togather. Has original wood and a great solid floor. Offering with the items pictured plus I have the fron and rear seat cushions in good shape. Car is apart and I was working on getting the body all bare steel. Check out the conditition of rear wheel wells. Original factory spot welds! Also not pictured but included are the bumpers and irons, radiator. gennie front fenders and hood, nice running boards , bobbed rear fenders, frame covers. Chassis has heavy front axle with a stock old chrome wishbone. 36 rear with juice brakes and shortened 34 driveshaft. 39 ford trans. Cool project that needs attention in a few areas but overall a great car. Abouit all that is missing from a complete car are garnish mouldings and a engine. Rare opportunity for someone.......I hate to see it go really. Please feel free to ask questions and if it works have the car inspected. On Jan-19-15 at 05:16:48 PST, seller added the following information: I forgot to mention these included items original wood front floor boards, org shell and grill, front splash apron, spreader bars, genie headlights on a v8 bar, tail lights and stands. Some have asked how much to buy. My reserve is the sum of a new brookville body, rolling genie 32 chassis and then all the trimmings. On Jan-19-15 at 17:16:47 PST, seller added the following information: I should add that another pay option is available. Bank wire transfer. Especially helpful for long distance buyers. I will however have the cash in my bank before car leaves my hand.On Jan-21-15 at 10:01:36 PST, seller added the following information: I forgot to say Murray body tag and front fender braces are included. This car came to me on a 4 bar chassis with glass fender and misc parts. I soon off the glass parts and evetually the chassis as it was 4 bar and I prefer an older build. So the chassis included is a western frame, original front and rear horns, origina lrear crossmember, spot welds.. bolted in center andfront original 32 crossmembers. The area where the steering mounts is opened up by someone many years ago. Other than that nice straight clean frame. The rear is from a driving 36 ford with juice brakes. Hooked to trans with a shortened 34 driveshaft....both housing and shaft. Mid 50's steering column andbox mounted loosely with one bolt. Very nice 32 heavy front axle with its original 32 spindles from a restored coupe ....no brake parts. Very cool old chrome32 unsplit wishbone. Choice of good 4 banger radiator or V8 that need a little work. You have about 5 pair of front fenders to choose a pair from. All need some work....some more than others. Rear fenders have been bobbed at the rear and just folded. Looks ike very old paint. The left has a 4 inch tear at top.Running boards are old but new smoothy...no covers.Hood is gennie 4 piece in good condition, old black paint Gas tank used original . cushionsns are older repro springs with old vinyl stitched covers...traditional. Headlights andbar are gennie.tail lights an stand repro.Firewall is a ice old original. Bumpers and irons look good but are showing age on the chrome as I did ot have them tored properly. I know I may be forgetting something. My number is 616 89o25o9 If pics are needed of specific parts text me and I will shoot pics and text back. Almost 400 watchers 3 days into the auction. Gonna be a fun last10 inutes. At this point I will not end auction. I will llow winning bidder to buy just body with its parts for $10,000 below winning bid. Thanks forlooking SteveOn Jan-24-15 at 03:36:53 PST, seller added the following information: I should clarify my offer of selling winning bidder body and its parts for 10,000 less than winning bid. Winning bidder means bidder has met reserve and won this auction. Reason i am offering this is the chassis pictured is under my roadster now. Heres a bit of history on this deuce. Man named Richard T brought this deuce from Laverne Ca to the first street rod nats in Peroia Il, 1969 was the year I think.Al S bought the deuce and paid Richard an extra 50 to deliver to his home in michigan. Al built the car early 70s. Full fendered yellow paint and BBC. Al took car apart early 80s. I bought this car from Al in 2005 and other than selling some of the parts not much has changed.
