1978 Datsun 280Z, Excellent Condition, Low Miles 1978 Datsun 280Z 4 speed, I6, second owner, immaculate, always stored in heated garage. All systems work as new, AM/FM radio with electric antenna, optional rear window shade, less than 500 miles on new tires, polished ’80 “Z” wheels, all original struts and suspension bushings are in excellent condition, new rear brakes and exhaust with less than 500 miles, no tears in any of the upholstery (cloth inserts done in seats many years ago (tastefully done), original carpet/door panels/headliner all in excellent condition, no accidents, no rust (anywhere, at all, ever!!!). Has had one repaint 20 years ago. Engine runs perfectly, fuel injection works flawlessly, never had any engine work except for a new exhaust, filters and fluids. Clutch master cylinder replaced (due to age, not wear). Repainted original color 20 years ago due to original paint cracking, all knobs/handles/switches/buttons/and parking brake lever are all original and in excellent condition. Air conditioning blows cold, all the gauges and instruments work including the clock! No wear or sag in the door hinges. Window mechanisms, seat tracks, latches, and locks all work as new, new windshield 20 years ago all other glass is original and excellent. We bought it in 1979 with 9,000 miles on it. 60k miles on it now, and we put less than 10k miles on it in the last 20 years (just babied and brought out into the sunlight for special occasions. The paint has some minor flaws from when it was repainted. If you look closely you can see some sanding imperfections on only the cowl and a small scratch from the new windshield installation. All minor but worth disclosing. This is a car for the discriminating buyer. Look at the pictures, it has the right stance and lines, a beautiful original with one repaint.
