The vehicle currently had 51,054 miles and was removed from service in Dec 2014 as part of our normal vehicle rotation cycle. The tires have approximately 30 - 40% tread remaining. The car has not had the GM key recall completed. The car may need to have the transmission rebuilt/replacement in the near future. The exterior is in good condition. The hood & front bumper have minor scratches/rock chips present. The roof has four (4) plugged & sealed holes present from where the light bar & radio antenna were previously mounted. The center edge of each side of the roof have three (3) small screw holes & surface rust present from where the light bar was secured to the car. The driver door has some minor scratches present around the door handle area. The trunk has one (1) plugged & sealed hole present from where a radio antenna was previously mounted. The rear bumper has some minor scrapes, scratches, & chips present. The passenger side rear door mould has paint chips/door dings present. The interior is in good condition. There is one small screw hole present on the dash to the left of the radio. There are some minor marks present throughout the headliner & an indentation approximately towards the middle of the headliner from where the prisoner cage was previously installed. There are 2 circular holes in each of the b-pillar trim pieces from where the prisoner cage support brackets were previously installed. A portion of the trunk liner material was cut away on the passenger side of the trunk to mount emergency equipment. This vehicle was serviced on a 60-day preventive maintenance cycle. It was last serviced in Nov 2014 at 50,999 miles. Other repairs to this vehicle include the following. In Dec 2014, at 51,001 miles, the radiator was replaced. Also in late Dec 2014, the transmission had two shift solenoids replaced. In July 2014, at 48,537 miles, the engine mount & right side driveshaft were replaced. In May 2014, at 47,563 miles, the rear brake pads & rotors were replaced. In Apr 2014, at 47,099 miles, the air conditioner was recharged. In July 2012, at 35,886 miles, the air cleaner duct cover was replaced under warranty at the local Chevrolet dealership. In Jan 2012, at 32,960 miles, the cooling system gaskets were replaced under warranty at the local Chevrolet dealership. In Nov 2011, at 31,490 miles, the trunk lock cylinder was repaired. In Oct 2011, at 29,896 miles, the battery was replaced. In Sep 2011, at 29,526 miles, the front tires, front brake pads, & front rotors were replaced. In July 2011, at 26,847 miles, the rear tires were replaced. In May 2011, at 23,753 miles, the left rear tire was repaired & the driver door molding reinstalled. In Apr 2011, at mil 21,892 miles, the steering gear & intermediate steering shaft were replaced under warranty at the local Chevrolet dealership. In Mar 2011, at 20,986 miles, the battery was replaced. In Jan 2011, at 18,524 miles, the front tires were replaced. In Nov 2010, at 14,608 miles, the front seat belt pretensioners were inspected at the local Chevrolet dealership due to a recall. In Sep 2010, at 8,824 miles, the front brake pads & rotors were replaced. In July 2010, at 6,404 miles, the right rear tire was repaired. This vehicle can be viewed between the hours of 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., Monday through Friday, excluding national holidays, at the City of Champaign Public Works Department, 702 Edgebrook Drive, Champaign, Illinois. The vehicle must be picked up between the hours of 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., Monday through Friday at the same location. The City of Champaign is required to sell all vehicles through an auction process.
