I am selling my 48 ford. It's a factory convertible deluxe model. All original, drives super nice. It had a restoration done to the paint in the early 80s. Everything works on it. Including the clock and speedo. It is a solid car with the exception of a little rust on the rockers. It is not visible, so I never cared to fix, I drive it the way with no problems. The motor and transmission where rebuilt before it was stored, both operate flawlessly. The shifts are super smooth, and the motor fires up every time I start it. Runs off 6 volt charging system that I did have rebuilt recently. They rebuilt the generator and voltage regulator. The horn blows laud. Top goes up and down nice. I had the convertible top pump removed to have it rebuilt and it was lost or stolen by a local shop. So the top is now manual. All the hydraulic rams and lines for the top are there. The top switch that makes the top go up and down is also there. I drive this car almost as a daily driver and never had any issues. It does not leak. I have had the brakes checked and recently adjusted. Car stops very good. The interior is in perfect shape. Motor and transmission I would say is also in perfect shape, and not in need of anything. All windows roll up and down very nice. Pictures might make the car look bad. There is no visible rust in the pictures. It is in the lower rockers. You can leave as is or repair. It doesn't not affect the structural integrity of the car. You can drive this car as is or give it a paint job. I preferred to drive it the way it is.
