Engine Cranks and turns, not run in 50 years, Automatic trans, will need some careful braking in and could be an original driver. Was purchased from a Washington estate sale and is now available. Most of these we find are tattered and incomplete, so seeing this one in this original shape is a treat. Although it shares some American styling cues, Humber is actually a British marquee. The Humber is an extremely rare 4.2 “Hemi” 6 cylinder motor with a automatic trans. She was last used on the road in 1963 and then parked in a garage where is stayed until today. Thankfully it does not seem to be missing any parts, Paint original and faded, has the original plush leather interior (old cracked, needing re-upholstery) and still in amazing condition. The previous “original” owner was a Humber Car Club member and comes with a plaque, club tie and magazines. Its British roots start to come through once you get inside, and it appears to be in great shape. The seller believes the chrome was redone at some point, although the paint and interior are thought to be original. The presence of rear tray tables means this car was intended to haul passengers in luxury. The interior is remarkably complete for being over 50 years old, and it looks like it could benefit from a good vacuuming more than anything. With a name like Super Snipe, it was destined to be a classic.
